Forensic Heather.
You know how when you hear of certain crimes and you call your BFF and you’re all “Wow, what a crazy fucker!” and your BFF is all “I know! WTF?” Imagine for a moment that your BFF was all educated and in grad school for forensic somethings and was able to give you all this insight and even helps you figure out what drugs people are on. Yeah, how cool would that be? Well guess what? THAT IS NOW MY REALITY. HEATHER QUIT REGULAR PSYCHOLOGY GRAD SCHOOL AND IS NOW DOING FORENSIC PSYCHIATRY GRAD SCHOOL.
So now when I call my BFF and go “Wow, what a crazy fucker! Why did he cut off the victim’s fingers? He was on drugs, for sure,” she says stuff like “No, usually people like that are sober during the act, especially if they are the type to remove evidence. They may use drugs and alcohol later on to help them cope with the crime…”
That Megan Wants a Millionaire guy that murdered his ex? I know all about him now. Total abuser. And something else that she said that I don’t remember but it’s bad.
There are a lot of reasons why this is good for me, like how I get to have all of the perspective with none of the work. Nevermind me, this is completely good for Heather. She is excited about things. She sends me emails about people in that field of work and she stays up late doing homework with me. Well, we text each other while staying up late doing homework in our respective homes 1000 miles apart.
Other byproducts include: people we hate having to begrudgingly admit that she’s smarter, more tenacious, more driven, more everything than they are or could ever hope to be. She is the single mother of THREE who gets ZERO child support and she’s DOING FORENSICS. (For meeeeee!!!!)
